August 1, 2019 – Langley, BC – Gateway Casinos & Entertainment (Gateway) is pleased to announce the opening of ATLAS Steak + Fish (ATLAS) at Cascades Casino Resort Langley (Cascades Casino). A modern twist on the classic North American Steakhouse, the opening of ATLAS is the jewel in a spectacular two-year renovation of Cascades Casino that bought more than 100 new jobs to the community.
The entire scope of the $18 million expansion and renovation was completed over two phases and featured the addition of 11,000 square feet of entertainment space with a full refresh of the gaming floor including new carpet, a new bingo hall and the addition of the Summit Bar + Gaming Lounge. Renovations in Match Eatery & Public House included an expanded all-season patio, and the full refurbishment of the 26,000-foot Coast Hotels Conference Centre, hotel rooms and public spaces was completed in November, 2018.

The main attraction at ATLAS is the open concept kitchen that allows guests full view of the signature Josper oven. The cornerstone of the menu, the Josper oven is a mesquite coal-powered oven that functions as a smoker, oven and broiler. Operating at extremely high temperatures, the Josper oven is versatile and allows chefs to grill and roast in an environment that retains the flavour and moisture in the foods that normally escapes with regular ovens. One of the first restaurant groups to bring in the Josper, it is featured at all five ATLAS locations across the country.

Dining at ATLAS is a full experience for guests, with knowledgeable staff speaking to what makes ATLAS unique and guiding them through the different elements of the menu. Priding itself on its fine selection of steaks, ATLAS goes one step further, and allows its guests to choose their own knives after being presented at the table with a knife box.
